Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines prohibited uses of the Pitch Rise Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this policy and use the Platform responsibly and ethically.

2. Permitted Uses

The Platform is designed for:

  • Educational learning and skill development
  • Personal academic improvement
  • Collaborative learning with peers
  • Progress tracking and self-assessment
  • Participation in leaderboards and challenges
  • Accessing AI-powered learning assistance

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1 Academic Dishonesty

You must NOT:

  • Submit AI-generated content as your own original work in school assignments
  • Use the Platform to cheat on tests or examinations
  • Share answers or solutions to bypass learning
  • Create multiple accounts to game the leaderboard

3.2 Harmful Content

You must NOT post, upload, or share:

  • Hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content
  • Violent, threatening, or harassing messages
  • Sexually explicit or inappropriate material
  • Content promoting illegal activities
  • Spam or unsolicited advertising

3.3 System Abuse

You must NOT:

  • Attempt to hack, breach, or circumvent security measures
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without permission
  • Overload or disrupt Platform services
  • Reverse engineer or decompile Platform code
  • Access other users' accounts or data

3.4 Impersonation and Misrepresentation

You must NOT:

  • Impersonate other users, teachers, or staff
  • Create fake accounts or profiles
  • Misrepresent your age, identity, or credentials
  • Falsely claim affiliation with institutions or organizations

4. Responsible AI Use

When using AI-powered features:

DO:

  • Use AI explanations to understand concepts better
  • Ask for hints and guidance when stuck
  • Verify AI-generated information independently
  • Follow your school's AI usage policies

DON'T:

  • Copy AI responses directly into school assignments
  • Rely solely on AI without developing your own understanding
  • Use AI to avoid learning the material

5. Community Guidelines

5.1 Respect and Kindness

  • Treat all users with respect and courtesy
  • Be supportive and encouraging to fellow learners
  • Celebrate others' achievements
  • Provide constructive feedback, not criticism

5.2 Appropriate Communication

  • Keep conversations educational and on-topic
  • Use appropriate language at all times
  • Respect privacy - don't share personal information
  • Report inappropriate behavior to Platform staff

6. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this policy may result in:

First Offense:

Warning and educational guidance on proper use

Repeated Violations:

Temporary suspension of account (7-30 days)

Serious or Repeated Violations:

Permanent account termination

Illegal Activity:

Immediate termination and report to authorities

7. Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience a violation of this policy:

All reports are taken seriously and will be investigated promptly. We protect the identity of reporters.

8. Updates to This Policy
